Originally created over 2 or 3 days of hardcore speed development. This site needed to go live quick to correspond with the E3 conference and some print material so there was no push back on the quick turnaround.
Originally this microsite was created by a motion designer as a standalone, non dynamic, flash banner. That was fine for proof of concept, the problem comes when you have to globalize a non-dynamic flash site. So my role was to take the mess on the timeline ;) and make it dynamic. This pretty much meant an entire redo. But hey, it's what I do best and it's what I like to do (I know, freak). So everything, right down to the 3d carasouel and the opening text animation was recreated and is now controlled through xml allowing for the xml to be easily translated and the site launched in multiple latin based and asian character based langauges.

Whoever deployed these files at Dell made a mistake, they put the wrong css paths in the embed tags therefore text does not show up for non IE browsers. We have told them about this but I guess they haven't gotten around to it yet.
